Faast Orange
Please welcome, Faast Orange.
Faast Orange was a legendary Belgian project around the Canadian singer Juliet Coy Carion. Her husband Xavier Carion (Channel Zero) was the creative force behind this project. Olivier Van Hove and Stef 'Doc' Sinhave completed the line up. When Peter Iterbeke and Marlon Backer joined them, it started looking more as a band. Their one and only full cd "Source" was released in 1995.

We're excited to welcome Sakadoya from Morocco to our ever growing distribution roster.
Khalid (screamer) and Hicham (drummer) started jamming in 2005, but it took awhile to find other metal-heads as hardcore as they were in the sleepy provincial city of Settat, Morocco. In 2007, with the addition of Reda (lead guitar), Simo (rhythm guitar), and Mehdi (bass), Sakadoya was born. The music started out as DeathMetal, took a turn towards Thrash, then veered off in a few other directions, but eventually became something different altogether. It's brutally heavy. It's eerily melodic. It's terrifying. It's honest. It's Sakadoya.
Less than a year after the band was formed, they won the two biggest, most prestigious national music competitions in the country. In 2008, Sakadoya took home 1st prize honours in the Rock/Metal category at the Generation Mawazine Festival in Rabat, the nation's capital, and the Boulevard Festival in Casablanca, defeating dozens of other bands nationwide for a shot at recording a full length album.
With the recording contract furnished by Generation Mawazine, Sakadoya spent a month in the studio with Canadian producer Stephan Lukacic, crafting their first album, "Back to the Age of Slaves". A crushing, brutal assault on the senses, blurring the boundaries between Metalcore, Death, and Thrash metal, the album's 8 songs take the listener on a frightening journey through a strange modern world as seen through Sakadoya's eyes. "Back to the Age of Slaves" is a scathing indictment of corporate America, of the global marketing machine that has turned modern man into a pitiful gadget buying slave, and of the gluttonous empires that are eating the planet.
Today Sakadoya are widely considered Morocco's premier metal band. They have been invited to every major rock music festival that counts, and have shared the stage with legendary bands such as The Exploited, Psychup and Sepultura. Sakadoya continues pushing the frontiers of Metal ever further, and are setting their sights on the international stage.
news Rhinestone Lives and Cindy Frey
Marja aka Rhinestone Lives and photographer Cindy Frey (www.cindyfrey.com) have been collaborating on a book. The result, Silence, will be released in October 2010. Cindy's photos illustrate Marja's texts on the theme of silence. An EP of songs will be released together with the book. Stay tuned for more info this summer!
